AGM 2022 Notices
The Club’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday December 7 at 7.30pm and be held on Zoom. The link for the Zoom connection will be sent out to all club members via club newsletter in the week of the AGM.
If any member wishes to stand for the management committee – and we’re currently seeking members to join us and help with Committee Secretary and Ladies Captain roles – the deadline for nominations is this Wednesday, November 16. Also anyone wishing to submit a resolution for consideration at the AGM should send their resolution in by this Wednesday too. Nominations and resolutions should be sent by email to club Chairman, Jonathan Brunert.
AGM Info Pack for all Members
The agenda for this year’s AGM will appear on this page in the next couple of weeks, once all resolutions and nominations are in.
Clubs accounts will be available for members via this webpage and links from the newsletter ahead of the AGM, as well as a detailed table with proposed membership fees for 2023-24.
The AGM routinely receives annual reports about what has happened across the whole club throughout the past year. Reports will be submitted from the Club Chairman, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Head Coach, Facilities Manager, Communications Officer, as well as others covering Junior tennis, Safeguarding and Welfare, and Team performance. These reports may be available via the webpage shortly before the AGM and certainly after it.
The AGM is your chance as members to quiz the management committee on anything about the running of the club over the past year and also your chance to propose things you might want to see at the club for discussion among and decisions by the club membership.
We need a quorum for the AGM to be valid, so please do your best to attend via Zoom from the comfort of your own surroundings – 7.30pm Wednesday December 7.
